The Model 3’s powertrain is comprised of an inverter with 24 pairs of 650-volt silicon carbide and MOSFET circuits. The performance of the 2021 Model 3 is aided by a dual-motor drivetrain.

With this engine, the automobile could go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 3.1 seconds. This vehicle outperforms the vast majority of performance vehicles in its class.

The sprint is completed in 5.3 seconds with the conventional trim and 4.2 seconds with the long-range trim.

The Dual Motor pack produces 450 horsepower and 471 pound-feet of torque. The long-range powertrain produces 346 horsepower and 389 pound-feet of torque.
